The Draw is an independent publication devoted to premium cigars — the leaf, the construction, the burn, and the long quiet hour a good stick deserves. We are not here to chase hype or hand out scores for access. We light up, we take notes, and we tell you the truth.

How we review

Every review starts with a cigar smoked the way it's meant to be: unrushed, on its own terms. We track flavor as it develops across the thirds, note construction and draw, and record the details that matter — vitola, wrapper, binder, and filler. Each cigar earns a numeric score out of 10 and an honest answer to the only question that really counts: would we smoke it again?
